Common Symptoms:
Engine runs erratic
| Possible Causes | Corrective Actions |

1Your mower is running with CHOKE activated | Pull the throttle/choke control lever rearward from the choke position |
Spark plug wire(s) loose | Connect spark plug wire(s). |
Blocked fuel line or stale fuel | Clean fuel line; full tank with clean fresh gasoline and replace fuel filter. |
Vent in gas cap plugged | Clear vent or replaces cap if damaged. |
Water or dirt in fuel system | Drain fuel tank. Refill with clean, fresh gas. |
Dirty air cleaner | Replace air cleaner paper element or clean foam pre-cleaner (depending on your model). |
