How to find the right snow thrower.
For lighter, fluffier occasional snow of 10 inches or less, any MTD single-stage snow thrower will deliver the power and performance you need. But if you get more snow than that, a two-stage snow thrower offers two separate actions to break up and move the snow up and out the chute.
